SORTING OFFICE

The sorting office is the foundation of our business. This is where the grades are established and collected. 1000kg - 3000kg per day is separated into over 300 different categories.

Our wholesale vintage sorting office is where we make our graded bulk bags and bales. Goods are initially separated and then checked before being stocked. Every full bag is then coded as “kilo clearance” or “bulk graded” depending on quality. This ensures that our customers receive a good grade. Our aim is that every single one of our customers make good profits. We do not retail so rely on regular, return orders for our business to continue its rapid growth.

We do not rely on deliveries, new stock is sorted every minute of every working day. Popular items will sell out straight away but this simply means that we need to sort and grade further to find the items again.

Handpicking is allowed by special arrangement. A minimum spend for this service would be £2000 + VAT. When handpicking in the sorting office our customers are charged both per piece and per kilogram depending on items chosen. This is only allowed in the separation process, we do not allow "cherry-picking"

It is possible to make an appointment to visit our sorting office. We highly recommend visiting at least once in order to see our grades and discuss what your business needs from Glass Onion Vintage.
