At Glass Onion Vintage we have two ways of buying:

1) MAIL order

2) WAREHOUSE visit

 

 

 

MAIL ORDERs – How to start

1. take a look at the list of items available in the “products” section.

2. Please request a product/price list via email. We will then send you an account form for our invoicing system.

3. once set up on our system we can forward a price list AND AN ORDER FORM.

The price list contains 3 mail order options, definitions of these options can be found below.

4. send a wish list along with quantities required. we can then process your order.

 

PRICE LIST DEFINITIONS:

 

Bulk GRADED BAGS:

>This is the best way to buy from Glass Onion Vintage. Here we sell untouched 25kg graded bags of your favourite categories. A minimum of 15 or 25kg must be taken of each category or style.

>Orders must be varied and include a number of categories. In these bags you will find the best untouched items we have to offer.

>A minimum spend of £1000 applies to this grade.

 

Glass Onion mail order “Hand-select” grade:

>Our team of experienced sorters and graders can hand select your orders. This grade is shop quality giving you a good mix of sizes and colours.

>All items in this grade are sold “per piece”.

>Simply state the number of items you require from each category. A minimum of 10 pieces are required from each category selected.

>Washing and steaming are an optional extra. Laundering is not done as standard.

>Minimum spend of £600. minimum of 10 pieces per category.

>Surcharges may apply to the prices for specific requests (If requests are possible).

-fOR eXAMPLE: dENIM SHIRTS ARE £3.40 p/p ON THE PRICE LIST. fOR A GRADE OF ONLY SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZES THE PRICE WOULD BE £7 PER PIECE.

 

 

Kilo “CLEARANCE” Grade:

>All items in the kilo grade are priced at £6 per kilogram.

>THIS IS A SELLABLE “CLEARANCE GRADE”. iNSIDE THIS GRADE YOU WILL FIND NO “SPECIAL PIECES” JUST THE BASIC ITEMS.

>THE “KILO CLEARANCE GRADE” IS NOT AVAILABLE ON ALL CATEGORIES. PLEASE SEE PRICE LIST FOR INFORMATION.

>A minimum of 3kg can be taken from each “KILO CLEARANCE GRADE” category.

>A minimum spend of £400 + VAT is required in the “Kilo CLEARANCE Grade”.

 

 

GRADE C:

Grade C items are broken down into the following categories and are removed from other Glass Onion Vintage grades, sold in 25kg minimum quantities:

>Modern clothing – Sold at £2 per kg + VAT. Ideal for market traders.

>Damaged Clothing – Ideal for reworking. Sold at £2 per kilogram or £10 per bag to bulk customers.

>Broken Fur – Sold at £2 per kilogram.

>Broken leather – Sold at £2 per kilogram.

>second choice mix vintage – sold at £2.50 per kilogram (minimum order is a 120kg bale). These items are mixed vintage/used clothing that has been picked through.

>third choice mix vintage – sold at 50p per kg. this item has been picked through twice. (minimum order is 1000kg)

 

 

 

WAREHOUSE VISITS:

Warehouse visits are appointment only. 

Please contact us in order to set up an account and make an appointment. we highly recommend that you visit our warehouse to view how we operate and what we can offer your business.

WAREHOUSE VISITS CAN BE USED TO VIEW THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

1. SORTING OFFICE – TO BUY HALF OR FULL BAGS and tO HANDPICK.

2. HANDPICK AREA – TO HANDSELECT FROM OUR RAILS.

 

 

HANDPICK:

·        items are on rails.

·        all sold per piece.

·        minimum spend is £150.

·        appointment is needed.

 

 sorting office handpicking:

·        AVAILABLE BY SPECIAL REQUEST

·        MINIMUM SPEND = £2000 + VAT.

·        GOODS SOLD BY PIECE AND BY KILOGRAM.

PLEASE NOTE: It is not possible to handpick from Bulk/graded bags IN STOCK, these must be taken as bags/bales.

 

 

RETURNS POLICY

DUE TO THE NATURE OF VINTAGE CLOTHING WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF OUR PRODUCTS. WE RECOMMEND THAT ALL OUR CUSTOMERS VISIT THE WAREHOUSE IN ORDER TO VIEW GRADES AND BECOME AWARE OF THE SERVICES WE OFFER.

MEMBERS OF THE GLASS ONION VINTAGE TEAM ARE ALSO MORE THAN WILLING TO DISCUSS GRADES WITH YOU BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER. WE DO NOT RETAIL SO RELY ON RETURN CUSTOM. WE HAVE NO INTENTION OF SENDING OUR CUSTOMERS ITEMS THEY CANNOT SELL. ALL GOODS SENT OUT ARE SELLABLE; SOME ITEMS MAY NEED VERY SLIGHT ATTENTION OR HAVE SLIPPED THROUGH THE GRADING PROCESS.

OUR GOODS ARE NOT LAUNDERED, STEAMED OR IRONED AS STANDARD. THIS SERVICE IS AVAILABLE AS AN OPTIONAL EXTRA.

Some items may have marks on them, this is the nature of used clothing.

RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED ON OUR EBAY ITEMS (PLEASE SEE EBAY POLICY)

GOODS ARE SENT OUT IN EITHER 15-20KG BOXES OR 250KG PALLETS.

International Orders:

At Glass Onion Vintage we have many happy customers based outside the UK.  The international minimum mail order spend is as follows:

EU = 1 pallet: 150-300kg 

Outside of EU = £2500 (for smaller orders please use our ebay store)

>Customers overseas are more than welcome to make a warehouse appointment to view our grades and see how we work.

>For shipping quotes please send a full order along with an account form. We can then give you a full pro forma outlining all shipping costs.
