We use "Cookies" to help improve the service we offer you on this website.
In simple terms, this means our website places small text files on your computer when you browse our site, like many other sites do.
They may be strictly necessary to make some specific function work such as our wishlist, for example or performance related like Google Analytics.
You should be aware though that we do not store any personal information about who you are unless you give us that information yourself by using our contact form, for example. We don’t store any information collected by any method, nor do we disclose the information to third parties.
The “Help” function within your browser should tell you how to do this or alternatively, you can visit www.aboutcookies.org, which contains comprehensive information on how to do this on a wide variety of desktop browsers.
In addition, if you would like to know more about google analytics you can find it here: www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html

atgotcode, bt, di, dt, loc, psc, ssc, uid, uit, user_segment, uvc – These cookies are set by the “Share” widget located at the top of each page. The widget allows the sharing of the current page with other users via social networks (eg. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn). The selection of buttons displayed is tailored to each visitor’s past use of social media sites and enables them to quickly post a link to a page on the Glass Onion site from the services the visitor uses most frequently. Without these cookies the “Share” widget would not be visible.
Glass Onion Vintage Ltd is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Glass Onion Vintage Ltd collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address.
We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see our choice and opt-out below.
We also send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your post code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavour to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. This can usually be done at the member information page or by emailing our Customer Support. [Some sites may also provide telephone or postal mail options for updating or correcting personal information].
Our users are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for the information. For example, our order form has an 'opt-out' mechanism so users who buy a product from us, but do not want any marketing material, can keep their email address off of our lists. Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to unsubscribe in the subject line in the email or email us at email@example.com
