Paris held its couture fashion shows last week and while the attentions of the fashion media were focused there, the GOV team were much more interested in what the Scandinavians were doing. Copenhagen and Stockholm also held their fashion shows last week and we couldn’t get enough of the Scandi style, especially the street style.
There were some great collections on the Scandinavian catwalks and we noted a few styles that kept appearing that we think are going to be big for Fall 2015.
You can always expect great knitwear from the Danes but we are happy to see that pattern knits will be a continued staple for next winter.
The 90's style puffa is back and was not just all over the catwalk but on the streets as well.
Winter favourite, fur coats were a big hit again for both men and women. The cut has moved on from the box shape to a longer style and come in a variety of colours.
Some of our favourite styles weren't on the catwalk but on the shows guests, with normcore, pastels and men in hats featuring heavily.
