Frayed Edges

Frayed and raw edges are every where this season, crossing-over seamlessly between SS15 top trends of denim and bohemia, with a more refined take on deconstruction. With a second season in the limelight and AW15 carrying on the trend, could fraying be the new fringe?



Fraying was all over SS15's catwalks, from Steinmetz's elaborate unwoven denim to Chanel's unfinished tailored suits.

Atendees to the AW15 fashion shows were adorned with frayed and raw edged clothing, especially denim.

With raw edges still seen on the AW15 it looks like this trend will be sticking around for a while.
